Policies

To secure a date, click Book Now, a $30 deposit is due at the time of booking. The deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. Please be advised, dates and scheduled makeup times will only be reserved via the website. Booking dates and times open one week (7 days) in advance. 

The final balance is due on the day of the event as one payment – no exceptions. The person(s) responsible for the entire balance of payment is the person(s) who booked and agreed to the Cancellation Policy on the booking site. Acceptable forms of payment are credit cards and/or cash.

Each client receives a 10 minute grace period. A $10 late fee will be assed if you arrive 15 minutes late. If you arrive 20 minutes past your start time, your appointment will be cancelled and the full balance for your service will be charged. By accepting the Cancellation Policy on the booking site you are agreeing to these terms. 

Cancellations are preferred 2 or more days prior to the booked date, and no less than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferrable even if the client cancels within 48 hours of their appointment. If Laken cancels at any time or is unable to perform her duties for any reason, 100% of the deposit paid will be refunded. By accepting the Cancellation Policy on the booking site you are agreeing to these terms. 

If the client fails to show-up to their appointment or cancel the same day of their appointment they will be charged for the full balance of their service. In the event that the client's payment method is declined, you will be banned from booking with #theLAKEshow. By accepting the Cancellation Policy on the booking site you are agreeing to these terms. 

All brushes and makeup products are kept sanitary and are sanitized between every makeup application.  Makeup products used are hypoallergenic.  Any skin condition should be reported by the client to the makeup artist prior to application and, if need be, a sample test of makeup may be performed on the skin to test reaction. Client(s) agree to release the makeup artist, Laken Lasheir (#theLAKEshow), its owner, from liability for any skin complications due to allergic reactions.

Makeup will be completed to client’s satisfaction, but is not to exceed allotted makeup time. Ample time is given for each makeup upon booking.  Acceptance of completed makeup application by client is acknowledgement by client that makeup is done to their satisfaction. Please be advise that #theLAKEshow has her own style of makeup and will not duplicate other artists' work.
